Sanford, N.C., January 5, 2014 – At Central Electric, our Water Heater Maintenance Program is like having a plumber standing by 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Instead of paying a huge hourly rate, you can sign up for our arrangement and pay only $1.00 per month.
This small fee-added on to your electric bill each month-covers heating elements, pop-off valves, and thermostats on your water heater, regardless of where you purchased it, or how old it is. If you ever need to replace your water heater, we can also finance a new electric one for up to 24 months for those who qualify.
A $50 credit to your power bill is available, if the licensed plumber determines the element, thermostat or pop-off valve is the problem. A $100 credit is available if the plumber says the water heater needs to be replaced. However members cannot take advantage of the program until they’ve been enrolled for at least 90 days.
