Scholarship Luncheon Celebration

Sanford, N.C., November 15, 2012-Today Central Electric celebrated with students, faculty, and donors at Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) Scholarship Luncheon held at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center in Sanford, NC. Central Carolina used the event to unite and thank those involved in the scholarship program.
If you are a full-time student or have a child who is and you’re a member of Central Electric, you could be eligible for a scholarship; as long as you or one of your family members is attending or currently enrolled at Central Carolina Community College. Five $2,000 grants are available to individuals who are members of Central EMC, live with a parent who is a member, possess a minimum grade point average of 2.5 and a student at this institution.
Candidates must participate in extracurricular activities, display outstanding devotion to their academics, and have financial need. An application for the college is listed on www.centralelectriconline.com; click on Member Services.
Don’t wait till the last minute to enter, as CCCC has a cut-off of May 1, 2013.
